Chicago Independent is proud to announce multifarious French Canadian artist Geneviève Castrée’s new project, Ô PAON, has finished her first full-length named 'Courses' to be released via LP and CD on 09/07/2010. This is a follow up to her debut 7" from late last year and is a natural but more mature and realized progression than Castree's earlier work as Woelv (K Records) and collaboration with the Watery Graves (Marriage).
'Courses' is the result of four trips to Montréal's infamous Hotel2Tango over two years under the guidance of producer/engineer Theirry Amar (GSY!BE/SMZ) and is a dark and beautiful record that features many key-players from Montreal's arts community/Constellation family including Thierry Amar, Nadia Moss, Sophie Trudeau, Jonah Fortune, Julie Houle and David Payant.
