Chicago Independent is proud to offer its Audio Code Manager, a custom-built solution for providing digital download codes with vinyl releases, or as digital promos. Check out some of the features:
Custom-Designed Cards
Bulk codes are created and delivered on custom-designed cards. Cards are designed with your logo and text, with the download code changing on each card.
- Cards are delivered to you digitally via .PDF file
- File is easy to print using a home printer, or can be printed and cut by a printing service
- Cards can be printed and delivered to you (optional feature)
Statistics
Statistics are available about downloads and email addresses collected via a password-protected web-based control panel. Once logged in, you can access the following information:
- Number of codes created/number of codes redeemed for vinyl
- Number of codes created/number of codes redeemed as a promo
- Number of codes created/number of codes redeemed as part of a press mailing
- Email address of each customer who used a download code, where provided (address not required to download)
Digital Promos/Press/Sales
Digital promo/press/sales copies of the album can be sent via the control panel. This is a cost-effective and environmentally friendly alternative to sending out physical copies.
- Digital copies can be sent using either your name or the name of your company (chosen each time)
- Digital copies can accompanied by a note via email, if desired
- Each batch can be labeled as promo, press, or sale for tracking purposes.
Custom Download Page on Your Website (optional)
For a one-time fee, you can fill digital download requests from your website. Rather than pointing users to chicago-independent.com, you can point them to your-domain.com.
- File is programmed and delivered to you
- No configuration is required on your server
- Files are stored and delivered by Chicago Independent, so your server will not have increased load or traffic
- Files are hosted securely on a high-speed cloud architecture

- EPs: $50
- 7"s: $30
- Album with no vinyl codes, only codes sent via email: $50 (great for digital label comps)

- Unlimited Promos sent via website
- Hosting for 160kbps .MP3 files
- Hosting of files for 2 years
Options
- Extra 1,000 vinyl codes: $30
- Hosting for one additional bitrate for MP3: $10 (up to 3 total file types)
- Hosting for FLAC files: $20
- Extra year of hosting: $10
